raccoon siblings
trot down the sidewalk

raccoon makes
another mess –
light rain

raccoon family
explores stuff on porch –
quiet otherwise

home after midnight –
raccoon ahead of me
on the sidewalk

chattering raccoon
answers my call
for the cat

storm arrives –
raccoon tracks
across the porch

one, two
threefourfive kits
then the mother raccoon

a look through the door
raccoon kit
makes eye contact

unwelcome human –
raccoon herds her kits
off the porch

muggy night –
possums replace
raccoons on porch
