overpass –
woman in bikini
on her porch below

fair crowd –
future therapy dog
sticks close to trainer

state fair tradition –
young women in short shorts
and cowboy boots

outflow winds
rearrange
back porch

webcam
watching
for a volcano

hamfest –
little children chase
duct tape rolls

all the clocks are wound –
as eager to hear midnight
as Quasimodo

before the election
trying to determine
lesser evils
